WHEN WE MEET

WHERE SAVANNAH AREA MEDICAL MANAGERS GATHER TO GAIN NEW KNOWLEDGE AND NETWORK

To carry on a program of mutual education relative to medical business management and to cooperate with all organizations having similar aims and objectives.  In addition, to create a network that supports and encourages its members to aspire to, and strive for, the highest personal standards in the profession of medical practice management.

The MGMA affiliate organization is governed by a Board of Directors elected annually by its membership.  Members include:  President, President-Elect, Vice-President, Secretary/Treasurer, a Member at Large and the two immediate Past Presidents.

The purpose of the organization is to improve management in medical practices, thereby better serving members of the organization, the physicians they represent, and the practices of medicine as an integral part of the health care system.

OUR PURPOSE

OUR GOALS

The Savannah Area Medical Group Management Association (SAMGMA), was founded in 1981, and is comprised of individuals engaged in the administrative aspects of medical practice.  Membership is diverse and represents practices operating under a variety of organizational and financial structures in the Savannah area.  SAMGMA does not have sponsorship of, or interest in, promoting union representation into the organization; rather, a genuine interest is directed towards the promotion of concepts and ideas within clinic management to the membership.
